Short Sleeve Blouse

Soutache is the narrow braided cord stitched down in loops and curls, a trim that started on military dress uniforms and worked its way onto western and folk wear across the Americas. Here it runs in fine lines across the front of a simple short sleeve blouse.

Point collar, square neckline, button front, short sleeves. The cotton is dyed in the piece so the color sits deep and even. Wear it tucked into a denim skirt with boots, or loose over black jeans.
