Boar suede is the workhorse of the suede family, a denser and pebblier nap than lamb or cow with a natural resistance to scuffs. This is real hide, worked by Scully, a leather house that has been at it since 1906, cut in the classic western trucker shape with a squared yoke, a snap front and cinch snaps at the waist.

A faux shearling collar and full body lining turn it into a genuine cold weather layer, and the sleeves run in smooth nylon so it slides on over a flannel. Cafe brown suede goes with raw denim, black jeans and every shade of boot leather you own.
