Aztec Embroidered Denim Jacket

The denim jacket has been workwear since the 1800s, and this one takes that faded, worked in shell and covers it in geometric Aztec embroidery, front and back. The sleeves aren't denim at all, they're knit sweater sleeves woven in a matching Aztec pattern, so the whole thing reads part jacket, part cardigan.

It buttons up the front, with two flap chest pockets that button shut and a classic point collar. Wear it open over a white tee and black jeans, or buttoned up with a slip dress and boots when the desert wind picks up.
