Quilted panels of genuine leather, lightly insulated, built to add warmth right where you need it and nowhere you do not. Cut by Scully, a leather house since 1906. This is real hide, not the nylon puffer you were expecting, and the horizontal color block bands give it a modern, almost technical look.

It layers under a jacket in deep winter and stands alone in the in between weather. Over a hoodie, over a flannel, over a knit. This is the piece a lot of closets get the most use out of.
